The new MLZ Team is underway
We are meeting all this week with our new team members, Graeme Atkins (Senior Project Officer) and Daniel Morin (Project Officer). Lots of planning about programs, selection of students, daily routines, setting up the learning areas, outside spaces, technology and many other details. So many things to plan. The new team is working together really well and we are excited about this new beginning. The visitor register was installed and used for the first time today .. Ben Fuller, advising on website design was our first "official" visitor.

Moving the Glass Table
The donated glass table has found a new home at 19 Linden St. It took a lot of effort to move it!
Thanks to the parish for lending us the van to move furniture. We also took some of Sandra's furniture to Baabayn.

Remar Red Weekend at Mittagong
On Saturday, Rodrigo, Argie and Lawrie gave a presentation about Lavalla200 and our work here to the Remar kids at Mittagong. They came from two schools, Beenleigh (Qld) and Auburn. Rodrigo had created a video about our work which you can see here: Video about us
We also had a good look around Mittagong, enjoying a nice lunch at a Polish cafe. Argie enjoyed the local wildlife.

Holy Family Fair
We enjoyed participating in the parish fair today. Not successful with Fr Pat's chocolate wheel, but we enjoyed this performance by the Cook Island Dancers and our own indigenous kids.
Cowan to Hawkesbury River
This was quite an arduous bushwalking for Argie, Noynoy and Lawrie. We walked down to Jerusalem bay from Cowan Station, and then north to Brooklyn, following a fire road for much of the way. Lots of wildlife, some beautiful scenery and of course, good exercise!
