Baking during COVID Isolation ... April

Once the panic run on supermarket shelves for flour, rice and toilet paper settled, we were able to purchase some baking supplies and try our hand at biscuit making.

With assistance from John Maguire, we changed over our Subaru, as it was overdue for replacement, nearing 100,000km. Same make, same model.


A Holiday with a Difference

The first Term school vacation began on 11 April, on the Easter weekend. There were no scheduled Easter ceremonies, so we arranged our own at home, and participated in some liturgies via the television.
During the holidays, we were confined to the house, due to the national COVID regulations. Holiday plans were abandoned ... Fabrício's and Lawrie's trip with Dave Hyndes to Warrumbungle National Park, Argie's and Rodrigo's trip to Victoria both cancelled. It was a quiet holiday indeed. At least we enjoyed quality community time.



Remote Learning

As the Corona crisis continues, we are arranging for online lessons for our MLZ students, where possible. We are also delivering hard copies of work to their homes. We are hoping that in the new term face to face lessons will again be possible.
