Mark is visiting Australia from Malaysia in order to have a short school experience here. Noynoy and Lawrie spent a day with him on the harbour. He will be in Australia for a week, mainly at St Greg's Campbelltown.

Argie Volunteering with Marist180
Argie recently completed a training day for working in Marist 180. Marist Youth Ministry have teamed up with Marist 180 to assist with organising a community wardrobe, clothing for people to borrow (or keep) for specific purposes such as job interviews.
Visit to Parramatta Marist High
Principal Matt Brennan welcomed us and arranged for us to participate in PBL training in March, together with an opportunity for teaching placements at PMH, as required to maintain our teacher accreditation in 2018.

Prayer Vigil in Dawson Mall
Lawrie participated in the prayer vigil outside local member Ed Husic's office. We were praying for a change of heart of the Australian Government towards the refugees on Manus Island.

Socceroos Game
We all enjoyed the game vs Honduras. Australia 3-1. We were among the 80,000 fans present. A crowded and slow trip home on the over-stretched train system.

Rodrigo joins Emu Plains Soccer club
Rodrigo is our keen football player and is trying out to play with Emu Plains. He is very pleased to be back on the football ground again. Argie was there as his number one fan.
My Kitchen Rules!
Today we held an inservice on hospitality - using our MLZ kitchen as a teaching tool. Sandra Perrett was our teacher and chef extraordinaire. We prepared delicious pancakes, from scratch. In a controlled experiment, after trying Greens pancake Mix, we discovered that fresh, from first principles, produces a vastly superior result.

Mittagong Retreat with MLZ Team
A few days at the Hermitage Mittagong with the newly formed Marist Learning Zone Team, led by John Robinson and Paul Harris. An introduction to Marist spirituality, charism and pedagogy.
Baabayn Weekend
Recently we spent a weekend at Gerringong with about 100 indigenous friends from Baabayn. Lots of kids enjoying the beach. We assisted by helping with the kids and preparing and cleaning up after meals. A lot of time yarning with the elders as well.
